Use Vintage Zoom Lenses on 6K Cameras to Make Digital Images Look Filmic
Many of the popular zoom lenses from the days of the Academy format will not work with the Super 35 and larger sensor cameras. Veydra is giving those vintage lenses along with the 24-290 T2.8 Optimo a new lease on life.
The Veydra 1.2x PL to PL Expander allows for coverage of RED’s Epic Dragon sensor as well as other PL mounted digital cameras that have a sensor size larger than the Academy aperture standard. The Veydra Expander increases the image circle of the lens up to a 34mm image circle with only 1/2 stop of T-stop increase required!. Cinematographers can once again use their favorite vintage zoom lenses and recapture the classic film looks of yesteryear.
