Boasting an impressive 6x zoom ratio, the Canon FD 50-300mm comes with S.S.C. coatings to ensure optical compatibility with Canon K35 & FD prime lenses. Re-Housed by GL Optics, this Canon FD 50-300mm T4.9 has been re-engineered for optimal performance in the motion picture industry. The original 8-blade iris has been replaced with a 15-blade circular iris for smooth bokeh & the close focus has been improved from 7.5 feet down to 6 feet. Additionally, integrated gears for focus, iris & zoom allow for easy compatibility with popular wireless control and/or follow focus units. Lens housing features a 1/4″-20 lens support bracket & large, legible markings on both sides of the barrel. We’ve also upgraded the lens engravings with fluorescent green paint (the same marking paint used on modern Zeiss lenses!) for added visibility in low light settings.
