About Us
Visual
Products employs a staff of sales and technical people
who deal with customers
around the world. The facilities include a showroom
large enough to accommodate cameras, dollies, support
gear and
even large
jib arms and cranes. Servicing the equipment that Visual Products sells is
accomplished in-house on the camera service benches
and in the machine shop. Lenses are serviced and collimated
in-house and then tested on a lens projector in the
projection room.
The
sales staff at Visual Products works with customers
to help determine their needs and
provide answers for questions. Whether you are looking
for a full-blown 35mm camera package or a zoom stick
for a lens that hasn’t been made in thirty years,
the sales staff at Visual Products will work with you
to find something that will not merely work, but will
work right and fit into your budget.

Visual Products
maintains a large inventory of equipment in its warehouse
where it awaits
reconditioning before being sold to all types of customers
around the world. With a large stock of inventory,
we are able to put together a package based on a customer’s
needs and budget. We give you the ability to “mix & match” and
build a package to your specifications.

At
Visual Products we stand behind the equipment we
sell. When you purchase equipment
from us it comes to you reconditioned and with a money
back guarantee as well as a six month parts and labor
warranty. We are able to offer these because of our staff
of technicians and the facilities available to them.
At
Visual Products we do not operate as “middleman” simply
bringing equipment in one door, dusting it off, and selling
it out the other door while marking up the price during
the trip across the room. Visual Products employs a staff
of camera, lens, support and lighting technicians with
a combined level of experience that measures over 4 decades.
All the equipment sold by Visual Products, whether it’s
a camera package, lens, fluidhead or simply a pan-handle,
gets serviced by our technicians before being shipped
to you. Visual Products technicians have been factory-trained
by the best in the business including: Panavision, Arriflex,
Abel Cine Tech, Cinema Products, Cooke, Angenieux and
Ronford/Baker.
Our
technicians have arrived at Visual Products having
worked for companies such as Panavision,
Victor Duncan and Whitehouse Audio Visual. Not only have
they received their training from the manufacturers of
the very equipment they now service, several of our technicians
have years of experience “in the trenches” as
camera assistants. These technicians fully understand
and appreciate the importance of properly serviced and
maintained equipment because they have personally experienced
that moment when all eyes on the set swing your way because
a piece of gear has failed.
All
Visual Products technicians strive to make sure that
the gear they service, rebuild
or convert will not make you the focus of attention on
set— unless you want to be the focus of attention.
If you want your camera to be painted candy-apple red
with tangerine flames just let us know— we would
welcome the opportunity.
The
years of experience and knowledge that the Visual Products
technicians bring
to their work has not only given Visual Products the
ability to overhaul and maintain many types of cameras,
lenses, camera support gear and dollies but to modify
them as well. From converting your camera or lens to
Super 16, to adding a video tap, to replacing a damaged
lens element, to machining that one of a kind bracket
for your dolly, Visual Products has the ability, the
Personnel and the facilities to do it— and do
it right.
